From Clay to Cup
Haka Moa- Chicken FightingChicken-fighting, or ho'ohaka moa was a popular sport in old Hawai'i, and a form of hākōkō (wrestling) was based on these fights. The haka moa wrestlers will stand on one leg, holding their other leg by the ankles behind them. The object of the game is simply to knock one’s opponent over or by pushing him or her out of the circle. The first player to push the opponent to the ground or out of the circle wins the match.
